Edelweiss Restraurant

Fantastic German food. Authentic taste. German atmosphere. We have been several times. The last time we were there was around Christmas of 2006 and they gave us this little table in front of the fireplace. It was cozy and warm and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

Went to this location last Thursday - peak time 1700 (5pm) and was seated immediately - Kudos - asked host's to clean table as there appeared to be a coffee stain and she was appalled that I asked for clean table and made me point out what I thought needed to be cleaned - and then she only washed the stain not the whole table - need to talk to Manager

Jun Japanese Restaurant
1760 Dublin Blvd, Colorado Springs, Black Forest,
Best Sushi in town. Every time I???m having trouble getting my wife to go out to dinner, I just mention Jun???s and she is suddenly ready to go. Over the years, we have been to both locations, and the one at Fillmore and Constitution is larger and nicer. Jun is almost always there, right behind the Sushi bar. The ambience is open and noisy, but not so loud you can't have a conversation. There are regular tables and sunken tables (where you take off your shoes) and tables around the grill (at the Fillmore location), if you want a show. We go for Sushi; so that's all I can comment on. The service is not consistent, but I've sat at AI for 20 minutes without ever getting a menu; so in the game of "compared to what", it does just fine.

Mona Lisa Gourmet Cafe
733 Manitou Ave, Manitou Springs, Black Forest,
The ambiance is nice in the dark, but if you catch it during daylight, it's starting to look a little run down. That said, lots of character and charm. The food is great, and the servers are personable. The Wine Cellar is great for just cheese and chocolate. Lots of delicious choices and add-ons. The meat portion of the full meal isn't fondue, but exotic meats you grill by yourself. Consider wearing a watch with a second hand so you can time your food... and wearing silk - think spatters - isn't a great idea. Fun and funky, the Mona Lisa is where my husband and I go for our special occasion, romantic dinners.
